"Singles Awareness Day" is a joke.
Even if you are single, even if you're cheap, what is so bad about designating a day for the world to remember to put their love into action?
I went many years being single on Valentine's Day. I know what it's like, but it is still something worth celebrating!
"I don't like Valentine's Day because you're supposed to show your love everyday?"
Oh, please. No one can afford that.
I'd like to ask that person how many times they send flowers on any given day.
I think V-Day is precious. I also don't think it's meant only for couples. Everybody loves somebody! And someone loves everybody.
I challenge you haters to embrace the holiday next year. Be kind to a stranger. Love on your pet. Bring cookies to work! Valentine's Day is about LOVE, not being in a relationship. Love is worth celebrating.
